A Quiet MInd in a Busy Season

During the holiday season when life becomes wonderfully busy, it is important to take daily quiet time. Just fifteen minutes of slow deep breathing will calm your nerves, relax your body and focus your mind. Ideas flow effortlessly when you take the time to listen. Becoming centered in meditation is like taking a mini vacation away from the routine of your day.

After quieting my mind, I like to script my day. I think of appointments I have and see them completed successfully, set intentions for my “to do” list for that day and declare that all of my interactions with other be open, clear, loving and productive. When I take the time to script my day, I find that my days flow effortlessly and joyously.

Affirmation for today:

Today, my life flows smoothly, effortlessly and joyously.
